Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction Using Magnetic Bead Technology
With Magnetic Bead Technology, DNA and RNA selectively bind to functionalized magnetic particles. During the washing process, magnetic fields are used to separate the bound nucleic acids from contaminants, followed by elution in a highly purified form.
Thanks to its high degree of automation, this technology is particularly well suited for applications requiring medium to high sample throughput and standardized laboratory workflows.
